In order to accurately track data related to the population we assist, Bethel Assistance Ministry will create a data-driven follow up committee and process

  • Attend a Bethel Assistance Ministry information meeting
  • Tour local resources that assist the poor and needy:
  • + Union Gospel Mission
  • + Second Harvest Food Bank
  • + Public Housing Authority
  • + Community Action Council
  • Study local economic data related to poverty in our area: city-data.com)

Pray:

  • Pray for God to move in the hearts of those He wants as volunteers in this ministry
  • Pray for those in need of help in the Tri-Cities
  • Pray for Bethel attenders to be generous in their financial contributions to our Assistance Ministry
  • Pray for churches in the area to open their wallets and hearts to help those in need
  • Pray for a greater awareness and response from Christians to the plight of the poor and needy both locally and globally

Do:

  • Become a volunteer on the Follow-Up Team
  • + Assist with phone calls
  • + Collect and analyze data related to services offered to clients
  • + Collect and analyze data related to client progress, both financially and spiritually
  • + Help connect clients/families in need to a Bethel Grow Group
  • Collaborate with local agencies who are already tracking needs-based data
